Five people, including three children, died and two others went missing after heavy rains lashed Dharchula sub-division of the district in Uttarakhand, resulting in the collapsing of houses in a village, an official said on Monday. According to Pithoragarh District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan, the incident took place in Jumma village on late Sunday night, following which he rushed to the spot to supervise relief and rescue operations.
