Uttar Pradesh students of classes 1 to 8 to be promoted without exams

All students of classes 1 to 8 studying in UP government schools would be promoted to the next class without appearing for any exams.

All students of classes 1 to 8 studying in UP government schools would be promoted to the next class without appearing for any exams. Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand issued instructions in this regard to all District Basic Education Officers on Tuesday. The order also states that the new academic session would begin on April 1, 2021. The promoted children will be evaluated and tested for the competencies of the previous class at the end of April. The annual examination of children from classes 1 to 8 in the council schools was to be held on March 25 and 26.
