Uttar Pradesh govt to announce new Population Policy for 2021-30

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be releasing the New Population Policy 2021-30 on the occasion of World Population Day on July 11, 2021.

The Uttar Pradesh government will announce a new population policy for 2021-2030 on Sunday (July 11), which is observed as World Population Day. The policy will provide incentives to people who will help in population control. Through the proposed policy, efforts will be made to increase the accessibility of contraceptive measures issued under the Family Planning Programme and provide a proper system for safe abortion.
