Uttar Pradesh extends Covid-19 lockdown by a week till May 17

Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday extended the coronavirus lockdown by a week in the state amid surge in virus cases.

Amid growing coronavirus cases in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday decided to increase the duration of the lockdown to May 17, an official spokesman said. All shops and establishments will now remain closed till May 17, he said.
