Shared by the Office of Stafford County Sheriff, the post is about the rescue of an owl. According to the post, the poor owl was hit by a vehicle and got stuck in between a car and a truck. However, a kind police officer rescued the bird in time and it is now doing quite well!
“’Who’ got rescued last night? This owl was hit by a vehicle last night in Vista Woods and was lodged between the cab and bed of the truck. Deputy Hepperle would like to remind everyone not to try and remove a wild animal like this. If safe, you can place a blanket or towel over the injured animal and call the Sheriff’s Office for assistance. This owl will be headed for to Blue Ridge Rescue this morning for rehabilitation. Thank you Deputy Hepperle!” read the caption.
