UPSC Civil Services Prelim result 2022 declared, over 13000 qualify

The Union Public Service Commission has announced the UPSC Civil Services Prelim results 2022 with over 13,000 candidates qualifying.
UPSC Prelim 2022 Result declared: The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has declared the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination 2022. The examination, which was conducted on June 5 this year, is annually held by the UPSC in three stages, which are preliminary, main, and interview to recruit officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
As per an official, around 11.52 lakh candidates applied for the examinations and 13090 candidates have successfully qualified for the exam.
The official further informed that at first, the Civil Services Examination 2022 sought to fill in 861 vacancies, which have now been increased to 1,022.
The result for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022 can be accessed on the commission’s website, i.e., upsconline.nic.in.

Successful candidates should note that their candidature is provisional.
These candidates have been asked to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022 as per the rules of examination.
