Upendra Kushwaha calls NDA ally Nitish Kumar 'PM material' but Bihar CM downplays endorsement

Janata Dal (United) leader Upendra Kushwaha called Nitish Kumar a "PM Material" on Sunday. The Bihar chief minister, however, downplayed his party colleague's claim and said that he is "not interested in these things". "In today's date, apart from PM Modi, many people are PM material and Nitish Kumar is one of them," Upendra Kushwaha, who is the Parliamentary Board chairman of JDU - an NDA ally - said.
