Health officials in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh were thrashed after they asked some men to give space to a woman, a newly married bride, who had refused to lift her veil in front of them. The incident happened in Saha Nagar Saraula village in Aligarh's Tappal area. At least two health officials sustained serious injuries. A case has been lodged against some unidentified villagers, including some youths, who thrashed the health officials. A team of health officials had gone to the Saha Nagar Saraula village to take samples of the villagers. Everything went just fine for a while. The villagers cooperated and had themselves tested for Covid-19 through the rapid antigen. The problem began after the bride came for her Covid testing.More Related News
