
UP transfer row: At late-night meet, Nadda assures Dinesh Khatik of resolving issues with Yogi govt

BJP's national president JP Nadda has assured UP minister Dinesh Khatik that he would help him resolve the issues with the Yogi Adityanath government in UP. Khatik is upset over the government's change in policy regarding transfers and postings in his Jal Shakti department.
Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Jal Shakti Department Dinesh Khatik met BJP President JP Nadda late on Wednesday to air his grievances regarding transfers and postings in his department, sources said.
The meeting was held at JP Nadda's residence. The conversation also included the current political situation in Uttar Pradesh.

Nadda is said to have assured Dinesh Khatik of resolving the issues. JP Nadda also strictly instructed Dinesh Khatik to raise the issue of the government and the party in the party forum itself.
On Thursday, Dinesh Khatik set out to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Khatik is miffed over the transfers in his department and FIR on his supporters in Hastinapur. The department is headed by minister Swatantra Dev Singh. Khatik is reported to have vacated his official residence and vehicle and moved to his personal residence in Hastinapur.
