UP Police launches 'pink' barracks for women cops in Muzaffarnagar

On International Women's Day, the Uttar Pradesh Police launched 'pink' barracks for women police personnel in Muzaffarnagar district.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Muzaffarnagar Police inaugurated world-class 'pink' barracks for female cops. The barracks are a first-of-a-kind accommodation for women police personnel, equipped with high-end amenities one can spot in a posh apartment. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Muzaffarnagar Abhishek Yadav said police personnel work in the most adverse circumstances and such barracks for women cops are the need of the hour. "Women police officers have to balance their personal life and professional life. Many times the women cops stay away from their families. I think it is our basic duty to ensure that every police personnel has access to these basic facilities," SSP Abhishek Yadav told India Today.More Related News
