
UP minister Sanjay Nishad takes jibe at state officers after Dinesh Khatik offers to resign

After Uttar Pradesh minister Dinesh Khatik offered to quit, another minister, Sanjay Nishad, took potshots at the officers. Sanjay Nishad said that there are a few officers who are politically affiliated to opposition parties.
After influential Dalit minister from western Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Khatik, offered his resignation, another minister, Sanjay Nishad, on Thursday hit out at the officers in the state government. UP fisheries minister Sanjay Nishad took a jibe at the officers and said that there are a few officers in the state cabinet who are politically inclined towards the Samajwadi party and the Bahujan Samajwadi party but show that they support the BJP. Dinesh Khatik is reportedly upset with the UP government's functioning.
"These officials hide when they have to show their character. The common people have to face trouble because of these officials and an investigation is underway for them."Sanjay Nishad said.
"We never pose any questions in front of our government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath always listens to his ministers," he said.
When asked about Dinesh Kathik's resignation, the national president of Nishad party said, "This is his personal matter. We always attend meetings. Till now, our community has no such expectations and if it happens, then I will see what needs to be done."
Uttar Pradesh minister Dinesh Khatik has offered his resignation, saying he is being ignored by departmental officials. Dinesh Kathik is reportedly miffed over the transfers in his department and the FIR against his supporters in Hastinapur.
Khatik, the Minister of State for Jalshakti in the Yogi Adityanath government, expressed his desire to resign through a letter addressed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
