
UP govt releases Rs 160 crore for farmers affected due to floods

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released financial assistance of Rs 160 crore to benefit around 5 lakh farmers who were affected by the recent floods and rainfall.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released an amount of Rs 160 crore to 44 districts of the state. The financial assistance will benefit around 5 lakh farmers who were affected by the recent floods and rainfall. The government dispensed the relief package after assessing crop losses due to rain.
Standing firmly with the farmers suffering from crop loss due to floods, Yogi Adityanath also instructed officials to give appropriate and immediate compensation to the farmers at any cost.
