NITI Aayog member Dr. V.K. Paul has asked the Delhi government during a meeting to be “watchful” and warned that unlocking can lead to an increase in COVID-19 cases. “The next three months are important. We need to be watchful,” Dr. Paul said at a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on July 9, as per minutes of the meeting released later. He said “unlock activity could lead to an increase in cases, though at present the positivity rate of cases is at its lowest point”.
