University exams to be conducted in May, not April: MP Higher Education Minister
India Today
The university exams in Madhya Pradesh, which are usually conducted in April, will be conducted in May this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The surge in Covid-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh has once again taken a toll on the conduction of the end-term exams in higher educational institutes as it was announced on Saturday that the university exams in the state will be conducted in May this year, not April. The end-term exams for university students are always conducted in the month of April in Madhya Pradesh, but in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases across the state, the government has decided to postpone the exams by one month and conduct them in May. While talking about the examinations to be conducted for the university students, the higher education minister said this year, around 4.3 lakh students in final year graduation courses and 1.72 lakh students from post-graduation fourth semester will be appearing for the exams.More Related News
