To keep the details of the education of the students, the state government is preparing for Universal Learner Passport.
In this, not only will his entire learning journey be recorded, but all the certificates and marksheets will be uploaded from the institute level to its 'digital vault'.
With this, people will not be able to apply for fake marksheets or certificates at the time of job application because they will be verified from this vault. For this, the state government is going to ask for a proposal for this.
UP will be the first state to start this. There is a rule for tracking students in the National Education Policy. This scheme will be implemented in a phased manner in the state.
Significantly, its concept notes, terms and conditions and other basic preparations have been completed and the proposal for technical partnership will be sought soon.
It will start from class one to eight, but in future it will be implemented from play group to masters and in professional studies as well.
Earlier, there had been a lot of cases of forged documentation, which is the primary reason behind the proposal. As per an estimate, there are five crore students studying at private, government, professional level in UP who are directly going to benefit from this scheme to secure their marksheet and important educational documents.
