A woman had hair ripped from her scalp in a racial attack in London in December 2021. The police are seeking information on a man in connection with the incident.
A 31-year-old woman had hair ripped from her scalp in a racially aggravated assault in London. The police have released a photograph of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack.
The incident took place on December 18, 2021, outside East Croydon Railway Station in south London. The victim had got off a Route 119 bus when she was attacked, according to the police.
According to Scotland Yard, the woman had her hair pulled by the suspect, resulting in a portion being ripped from her scalp. The suspect then punched the woman in the back of her head, causing her to fall, as per a report by the Guardian.
The victim also sustained facial injuries in the prolonged racially aggravated attack.

Detective Constable Becky Hughes said, “This was an entirely unprovoked assault which continued whilst the victim was lying on the ground.”
“I would urge anyone who was there, or who recognises the person whose image we have released today, to come forward. We need to identify and speak with him,” the police officer added.
