United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson highlighted Pakistan’s 10 billion trees project during his speech at the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Wednesday. The UK PM asked everyone to follow the example of his Pakistan counterpart, Imran Khan.
‘10 Billion Trees Tsunami’, which is also known as ‘Plant for Pakistan’, is a five-year project to plant 10 billion trees across the country. The project, which was kicked off by PM Imran Khan in September 2018, is aimed at minimising the environmental losses and countering the impact of climate change.
