He directly sought divine intervention for his team to win matches. Yes, you read that right. The man went to the ISKCON Temple in Delhi to pray to Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami. UK High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis took to Twitter to share a video. In the short clip, he can be seen reacting to an unidentified man praying for the football team Manchester United. Ellis, who was present at the ISKCON Temple himself to seek some blessings on Janmashtami, spotted the man praying to Lord Krishna for his team to win matches. "It is important to have faith in a culture. To believe that Manchester United are going to win requires an act of faith," Ellis said to the man as he laughed.
