Ujjain: Son kills father after he refused to give money for alcohol, arrested

A man was arrested for allegedly killing his 70-year-old father after he refused to give him money to purchase liquor.

A 70-year-old man was beaten to death by his son after he refused to give him money for alcohol in the Nanakheda Police Station area in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Moolchand.

The police have registered a case and have taken the accused, deceased’s son Ajay, into custody.

The Nanakheda police station in-charge OP Ahir said, “The son was asking for money from the father for drinking alcohol. There was a dispute between both of them for not giving money. Ajay, accused, beat up his father. He was later taken to a hospital by relatives where he died during treatment”.
