Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray met PM Narendra Modi to discuss the Maratha reservation issue, pending GST compensation, Cyclone Tauktae financial aid.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and discussed the Maratha reservation issue and the pending GST compensation. Uddhav Thackeray also discussed the availability of land for the Metro car shed in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg and financial aid for cyclone relief measures. Deputy Chief Minister and senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar, and senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan accompanied Uddhav Thackeray. Speaking with the reporters after his meeting with PM Narendra Modi, CM Uddhav Thackeray said, "I met PM Narendra Modi today. Some important issues of state were discussed. We hope that the prime minister will consider the issues we put forth. We have faith that the PM will consider our issues."More Related News
