Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray slammed the BJP for calling the Shiv Sena corrupt after the two parties' alliance ended in 2019, and dared it to topple his Sena-NCP-Congress coalition government, which will complete two years next month.
Attacking former ally, the BJP, for calling the Shiv Sena corrupt after the two parties' alliance ended in 2019, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray dared the saffron party to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state. He also took a dig at senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who had said that he still feels like chief minister of Maharashtra.
Referring to Devendra Fadnavis' famous "Me Punha Yein" (I will return) slogan which had become popular before the 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections, Uddhav Thackeray said, "Those who said I will come back are now saying that they have never gone. My parents taught me to be humble."
