Peter Manfredonia, 26, of Newtown, Connecticut, has pleaded guilty to murder and kidnapping charges for a 2020 crime spree that led to a multistate manhunt and his capture in Maryland.
Manfredonia already had pleaded guilty to murder and other charges earlier this month in the sword attack.
The violence in Connecticut was followed by a six-day search in several states that ended with Manfredonia being captured in Maryland.
