U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance leaves for Washington from Jaipur

U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance and family visit India, touring Jaipur, Agra, and meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi

U.S. Vice-President J. D. Vance, his wife Usha Vance, and their three children left for Washington on a special aircraft from the Jaipur International Airport on Thursday (April 24, 2025), officials said.

Mr. Vance and his family arrived in Jaipur from Delhi on Monday (April 21) night. On Tuesday (April 22), they visited the Amber Fort before Mr. Vance delivered a speech on India-U.S. relationship at a programme.

They visited the Taj Mahal in Agra on Wednesday (April 23) before returning to Jaipur.

The Vances began their India trip on Monday (April 21) with a visit to the Akshardham Temple in Delhi before meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter's residence in the Capital.
