It happened at around 10:45 a.m. near Yonge Street and Empress Avenue, which is just north of Mel Lastman Square.
Police tell CP24 that one vehicle appears to have run another vehicle off the road, causing it to roll over.
Police say that there are also reports that shots may have been fired from the suspect vehicle, however that detail has not yet been confirmed.
Footage from the scene shows a Kia Sportage on its roof across from Mel Lastman Square. The vehicle appears to have significant damage to its side and front-end.
A dump truck is also visible behind the police tape. Police say that vehicle was involved in the collision but not the road rage incident that investigators believe preceded it.
Police say that a man and a woman sustained serious injuries in the rollover collision and were taken to hospital for treatment.
