Two men, one woman arrested in Vizag for supplying drugs; Audi, drugs recovered from accused

The three accused had consumed drugs during their visit to Goa last year. Visakhapatnam police task force recovered 18 MDMA tablets and two sachets of MD crystal powder along with the Audi they were using.
Three people, including a woman, were arrested for consuming and supplying drugs in Visakhapatnam. The Audi car they were using was also seized.
Visakhapatnam police task force, on Monday, February 1, arrested two men and a woman travelling in an Audi car and seized 18 MDMA tablets and two sachets of MD crystal powder.
The girl, an HR professional, was bringing the drugs from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam by bus.
She was picked up by her two friends at the NAD junction of the city, which included a doctor. All the accused met each other in a pub in Hyderabad and later became friends. They were buying drugs from Hyderabad, Bangalore and Goa.
Special Branch Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Anand Reddy said that Geeta from Hyderabad, Malaviya (24), Hemant (35) from Visakhapatnam and Prithvi (33) from Rajam are friends. All of them had consumed drugs during their Goa visit last year.
“Hemanth sent 33,000 to Prithvi through phone pay for drugs. Geetha and Malavyia sent the drugs to Hemanth through Malaviya," said Anand Reddy.
Hemant requested drugs from Prithvi, who contacted his friend Malaviya and requested her to bring the drugs to Vizag.
