Two men arrested for assaulting, robbing TRS MP's son in Hyderabad

Two men, identified as Salman and Zoaib, were arrested by Hyderabad Police for assaulting and robbing a TRS MP’s son. The accused barged into the victim’s car, assaulted him and forced him to transfer Rs 75,000.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Nama Nageswara Rao's son, N Prithvi Teja, was allegedly attacked and robbed by two persons identified as Salman and Zoaib in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on Saturday, July 30. The two accused have been arrested by the police.
According to the victim, while he was travelling on Tolichowki Main road, at around 4.30 pm on Saturday, he was stopped by two people who were obstructing his vehicle using a bike.
The two accused reportedly got into his car, consumed alcohol inside his car and assaulted him.
Later, they forced Prithvi to transfer Rs.75,000 on PhonePay. One of the accused drove the car from Gachibowli to Masabtank, then in the SR Nagar limits, and rammed into many two-wheelers on the way.
According to Panjagutta Police Inspector, Harish Chandra, “After receiving the complaint, a case was registered and the two accused have been identified as Salman, who is a mobile technician by profession, and Zoaib, an unemployed youth. Both have been apprehended. Further investigations are underway.”
