Two liquor businessmen were shot dead by bike-borne armed assailants on Friday morning in Gurugram.
A former councillor and his elder brother, both liquor businessmen, were allegedly shot dead by bike-borne armed assailants on Friday morning in Gurugram.
Both of them were cornered by 4-5 assailants near their house and as many as 30 bullets were fired.
The deceased were identified as Paramjit Thakran and Surjit Thakran. They were residents of Khod village in Pataudi block.
At around 9 am on Friday, former councillor Parmjit was busy on a phone call outside his house when armed assailants came on two bikes and opened fire on him.
They also targeted his brother Surjit, who was standing around 200 metres away and pumped around 30 bullets into them.
Both were critically injured and rushed to a private hospital in Gurugram where they succumbed to their injuries.
Police have registered a case and a search to nab the killers in on. The crime was reportedly carried out due to old enmity.
