
Two feared dead after Union minister's son allegedly runs car over protesting farmers in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri

The farmers were protesting the Centre's three farm bills ahead of an event in Tikunia where UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya was to be the chief guest.
Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Ajay Mishra, was accused of running over protesting farmers with his car on Sunday. Two farmers are feared dead as a result of the incident, which led to a huge outcry in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri.
The farmers were protesting the Centre's three farm bills ahead of an event in Tikunia where UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya was to be the chief guest.
