The two wild elephants, including a female elephant and a calf, died after being hit by a passenger train.
Two wild elephants, including a calf, were killed after being hit by a train in Assam’s Kamrup district on Tuesday night.
The incident took place in the Durung Moinajan area under Khetri police station, on the outskirts of Guwahati at around 10 pm.
