Two coins in two bowls: Read what PM Modi said at Pariksha Pe Charcha

Addressing students and teachers from across India at the Pariksha Pe Charcha event on Friday, PM Modi used the metaphor of bowls and coins to emphasise the importance of staying focused.

While interacting with students, parents and teachers at the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 event on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the importance of keeping one's mind focused, especially during examinations.

Using a metaphor to illustrate his point, he said, "Take two bowls of water. Keep a coin in both. Now imagine that the water in own bowl is moving while the other is stable. In the bowl in which the water is moving, you will not be able to see the coin clearly. But in the bowl in which the water is stable, you will be able to see the coin very clearly."

PM Modi added, "Similarly, if you mind is distracted, you will not be able to recall what's stored inside the same the way coin was not visible. But if you stay focused and keep your mind stable, everything will come back to you. In order to stay focused, try taking deep breaths."

PM Narendra Modi's event for students — Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 — took place at 11 am on Friday at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. PM Modi interacted with students, parents and teachers from all over India regarding pre-exam issues, such as preparation methods and managing stress.
