
Two bus accidents in Kolkata leave five injured in 48 hrs

As per reports, police have asked the bus drivers in the city to recheck the fitness of their respective vehicles to avoid such serious accidents.
At least five people were left injured in two bus accidents in Kolkata in the past 48 hours. Reportedly, the condition of one of the injured is stated to be serious.
According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), the first accident took place on Friday evening near EM Bypass at the HUDCO crossing, after the steering wheel of an Ultadanga-Garia bus got locked due to some mechanical fault.
