With the arrests, the Cyber Police Station, the Rohini Cyber Police team, has busted a gang of tech-savvy criminals.
One, Prem Yadav, had filed a complaint of cheating. He mentioned that he received a call on his mobile phone and a person representing himself as an employee of SBI Bank.
He said the caller asked him to provide details of his credit card by luring him to help in redeeming the points on his credit card.
He said after he followed the caller’s instructions, he received notifications on his mobile phone regarding two transactions of Rs 90,000 and Rs 10,000 from his credit card.

After the initial probe, a raid was conducted and Deepak Wadhwa of Subhash Nagar in Delhi was arrested in this case with the help of technical surveillance.
