Twitter war erupts between Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Telangana minister KTR over petrol prices

Telangana minister KT Rama Rao and Union minister Hardeep engaged in a battle of words on Twitter over the recent petrol prices. The central minister questioned the high VAT on petrol products in Telangana, while KTR blamed the Centre for the sharp rise in petrol prices.
Amid the TRS-led Telangana government continuing its attack on the BJP-led Union government, a Twitter war erupted on Thursday between minister Hardeep Singh Puri and KT Rama Rao.
Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India, Hardeep Singh Puri, posted a tweet questioning the high VAT on petrol products in Telangana. In response, KTR justified the tax and pointed out that the Telangana government has not increased VAT on petrol products since the formation of the state.
