There are long distance hikes, and there are long distance hikes -- like Turkey's 29-day Lycian Way -- that take in some of the world's best beaches, offering gorgeous pit stops for walkers to rest weary legs and soak their feet.
(CNN) — Turkey's Lycian Way crosses steep mountains covered in pines, carob and strawberry trees.
It passes through 25 historical sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage listed ancient cities of Xanthos and Letoon. And the full route takes 29 days to complete.
Offering guests hourly rates and privacy, “love hotels” can be found across Japan. But as photographer François Prost documents, their architecture can be far from discreet.
