Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Greater Victoria on Monday to make an announcement about investments in electric vehicle infrastructure.
Trudeau will make the announcement at Royal Roads University in Colwood.

The federal budget tabled last week emphasized transitioning to a green economy, with new investments in critical minerals and metals, expanding the availability of zero-emission vehicles and charging stations.
Speaking with CFAX radio on Monday morning, the prime minister said the cost of electric vehicles and the relative scarcity of charging stations is still a deterrent for many Canadians.
Trudeau said his government is making electric vehicles more affordable for Canadians at a time when gasoline prices continue to rise.
Trudeau is also expected to meet with Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps and the City of Victoria Youth Advisory Council on Monday afternoon.
