Leading commercial-vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland is under investigation by central agency ED for sale of sale of trucks that violate anti-pollution norms set by the Supreme Court.
The trucks were bought by a former MLA of the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh, JC Prabhakar, and his family members and associates, who have already been questioned several times and their companies' assets worth Rs 22.1 crore attached to the case.
