Tripura Floods: Disaster Management officials said that seven members of two families died at Santirbazar in South Tripura district when their houses collapsed due to a massive landslide triggered by incessant rain late on Wednesday night.
The death count from the recent rains and floods in Tripura has risen to 20, officials said on Thursday. This increase follows the deaths of at least seven more people from two families, including three women and a child, who were killed in landslides. The state is experiencing its most severe monsoon flooding in over 30 years
