Trichy police files case on father for sexually assaulting minor daughter

Trichy police filed a case against a 38-year-old man for sexually assaulting his 14-year-old minor daughter. The man was caught in the act by his wife when she returned home after work. He had sexually assaulted his daughter multiple times and threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Trichy Police have filed a case against a 38-year-old man from Thaluthalapatti village for sexually assaulting his 14-year-old minor daughter. Police filed a case based on a complaint from his wife. The man is absconding and on the run.
On Thursday, March 3, the 14-year-old child’s mother filed a complaint with Lalgudi All Women Police against her husband.
The mother stated that as she returned from work on Tuesday, she was shocked to find her daughter being restrained and her husband sexually assaulting her.
As the mother started yelling, the accused ran away from the spot. The child had later confessed that her father had sexually assaulted her several times and had threatened her to kill her if she told anyone.
Based on the mother’s complaint, a case was filed under sections 5(1)(n), 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and 351, 506 (I) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The accused is absconding and police are hunting him.
