The cherry blossom trees in Washington, D.C., have reached peak bloom at 70% with travelers flocking to the nation's capital. A National Park Service ranger gave tips for seeing the blooms.
Just how long the trees stay in bloom, said Litterst, is very much dependent on the weather. "It's worth it because it's so pretty."
