A train derailment has shut down a section of McPhillips Street on Friday morning.

A train derailment has shut down a section of McPhillips Street on Friday morning.

Just after 8:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service tweeted that northbound and southbound McPhillips is closed between Logan Avenue and Jarvis Avenue due to a train derailment.

Drivers are asked to use a different route.
