Delhi Traffic Police has made special traffic arrangements and urged commuters to avoid certain routes on Saturday in view of peace march (Shanti March) by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP). Check which routes to avoid.
Traffic movement in parts of central Delhi will be affected on Saturday due to the peace march (Shanti March) by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), the Delhi Traffic Police said. Several roads will be closed temporarily between 8.30 AM to 2 PM, it added.
To avoid inconvenience to the public, Delhi Traffic Police said it has made special arrangements and urged commuters to avoid certain routes.
Commuters have been asked to avoid Sikandara Road, Barakhamba Road, Copernicus Marg, Firoz Shah Road, Bhagwan Das Road, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Sansad Marg from Outer Circle Connaught Place to Patel Chowk and Janpath from Outer Circle Connaught Place to R/A Windsor Place.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, Delhi Traffic Police wrote, "Due to special traffic arrangements, kindly avoid the following roads between 8.30 AM to 2 PM" (sic).

Police said these roads will only be used for pedestrian movements during the period.
