Traffic accident cases fall in March: PSA

The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) in its 87th issue of the Qatar Monthly Statistics bulletin disclosed that 613 traffic accident cases were recorded in March 2021, showing a monthly decrease of 2.9% and an annual increase of 26.9%.
Light injuries accounted for the vast majority of traffic accident cases during the same month, with 88%, followed by 9% severe injuries. However, 18 deaths were recorded, equivalent to 3% of total traffic accident cases. The newsletter also added that 5,342 new vehicles were registered in March, showing a monthly increase of 3.9% and an annual increase of 24.4%. Meanwhile, the issue recorded a rise in the number and value of sold properties; a monthly increase of 27.5% and 45.0%, respectively (compared to February 2021), and an annual increase of 126.1% and 74.8% (compared to March 2020).More Related News
