Trade agreement with UAE, Australia to create 10 lakh jobs in India: Union minister Anupriya Patel

MoS Anupriya Patel said that the FTAs with UAE and Australia will boost India’s exports and is expected to create 10 lakh job employment opportunities in India.
Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Anupriya Patel said that the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with UAE and Australia will create 10 lakh new jobs in India. The Union Minister pointed out that with the agreement, the exporters of India will have limitless opportunities ahead of them.
Speaking to India Today, Anupriya Patel said that this is the first time the government of India has made such an agreement with these countries. She said that the agreement is expected to create 10 lakh new employment opportunities in India, while also increasing India's export share.
Anupriya Patel said that leather footwear, carpet, handicrafts, and glass industries of Agra and Firozabad could greatly benefit from this agreement and the government will also help the district in becoming an export center.

Union Minister of State for Law and Agra MP SP Singh Baghel said that if there is any law that is causing hurdles in exports, it will be removed. So far, the government has removed about 1500 such laws.
SP Singh Baghel also urged Anupriya Patel to pay special attention to the environmental clearance issues plaguing Agra industries.
He further urged the Union minister to think about opening an artisan School or university in Agra which will help refine the skills of the local artisans. SP Singh Baghel said that so far, most of the trades in Agra are caste-based and only people of a particular caste work in a particular profession.
