Toyota Hilux specifications revealed ahead of its launch this month

Toyota Hilux India launch is set to take place on January 20, 2022 and here's what we know about its specifications, features, engine and transmission options so far.

As reported earlier Toyota is all set to launch its Hilux pickup truck in India this month and bookings for the same have already commenced before the official launch on January 20, 2022. Dealers have received their documentation for the Hilux, and on the basis of these many details like engine, transmission, colour and expected pricing have been confirmed.

Hilux will debut on Indian shores in its 4-door double-cab five-seat configuration. The pickup is based on Toyota’s IMV2 architecture that it shares with the Fortuner and Innova Crysta. Features that have been confirmed include LED headlamps, 18-inch alloys that may be similar to the Fortuner, India-specific chrome bits, infotainment system same as the Fortuner/Innova Crysta, leather seats, electronically adjustable front seats amongst others.
