Toyota Fortuner vs Ford Endeavour: New prices compared

The Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour recently witnessed a price hike.

The Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour recently saw their prices going north. While the Fortuner received a price hike of as much as Rs 72,000, the price of the Endeavour rose by up to Rs 80,000. Earlier priced between Rs 29.98 lakh and Rs 37.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Toyota Fortuner is now available in the price range of Rs 30.34 lakh to Rs 38.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ford Endeavour, which was earlier priced between Rs 29.99 lakh and Rs 35.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is now offered in the price bracket of Rs 29.99 lakh to Rs 36.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Toyota Fortuner comes with a couple of engine options. There is a 2.7-litre petrol motor producing 166PS of maximum power and 245Nm of peak torque, and it can be paired either with a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. Also available is a 2.8-litre diesel mill churning out 204PS of maximum power and 420Nm of peak torque with a 6-speed MT, and 204PS of maximum power and 500Nm of peak torque with a 6-speed AT. The SUV gets both 2WD and 4WD options.
