Tourists rush to Shimla as Himachal Pradesh eases Covid curbs, huge traffic at Parwanoo
India Today
Himachal Pradesh issued new guidelines on Friday, extending the “corona curfew” with several more relaxations. Section 144 has been lifted and negative RT-PCR tests are no longer required to enter the state.
Tourists were seen flocking to Shimla on Sunday after the Himachal Pradesh government eased Covid-19 restrictions last week. Dozens of vehicles were stranded at the inter-state barriers at Parwanoo, where the cops were scrutinizing Covid e-pass of travellers arriving from neighbouring states. With the mercury soaring across northern India, tourists are heading to the hills for some respite from the scorching summer heat.More Related News
