UEFA said it had tried to find a viable solution to reschedule Thursday's match in London and ensure the group stage could be completed but a "solution that could work for both clubs" could not be found.

Tottenham Hotspur's Europa Conference League match against Rennes will not be played after it was called off earlier this week due to an outbreak of Covid-19 infections in the London club. European football's governing body UEFA said that a solution that was agreeable for both clubs could not be found in the discussions that were held on the topic.
