Toronto police investigating 'suspicious' death after man found on road in North York

A man has died after he was found with serious injuries on a road in North York Saturday morning, Toronto police say.
Police and paramedics were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue just after 6:15 a.m.
Police initially said the circumstances that led to the man's injuries were not known.
In a later post on X, formerly known as Twitter, police said the death has been deemed "suspicious in nature" and the Homicide Unit has been called in to investigate.
The westbound lanes of Wilson Avenue from Bathurst Street have been closed for the investigation. Police say motorists should expect delays in the area.
