Top-selling compact sedans in May 2021: Maruti Suzuki Dzire leads; Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor follow

When it comes to the compact sedan segment in India, the vehicle that stands out is the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. It has been the largest-selling model in this space for a very long time now and topped the sales chart in May 2021 as well. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire was followed by the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor in terms of sales in May 2021, which witnessed the manufacturing operations of the automakers being severely impacted by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. While the Maruti Suzuki Dzire was the best-selling compact sedan in May 2021, its sales dropped to 5,819 units during the month from 14,073 units in April 2021. It is available in the price range of Rs 5.98 lakh to Rs 9.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
