1. Former Minister and JD(S) leader H.D. Revanna, who was arrested in connection with an abduction case, will be released today after he secured bail. His son and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna is being investigated for alleged sexual assault on multiple women, and the father is accused of abducting one of the victims to prevent her from testifying.
2. Heavy rains lashed Bengaluru last night, and more rains are expected today. IMD has forecast five days of rain in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka.
